Sparks Learning Hub is a specialist Alternative Provision based in Ashburton, South Devon, for young people who are not currently able to, or do not wish to, access mainstream education.
 

We support students who may be experiencing school-related anxiety, persistent absence or school refusal, additional learning needs, Autism or ADHD, the impact of childhood trauma, or who have previously been educated at home.
 

At Sparks, we see the young person first — not the barriers they face.

Our aim is to create a small, calm, low-arousal and highly personalised learning environment where young people feel safe, understood and supported. We help students rebuild confidence, reconnect with education and develop the skills they need to move forward.

Our students are often highly motivated to learn. With the right environment, relationships and support around them, they can engage positively with their studies and achieve far more than they may have believed possible.
